Review the construction in your hands
Check the crown shape, fit, panel joins, visor curve, sweatband, inside seams and closure. Compare each point with the approved specification rather than relying on the product photo alone.
Try the cap on if fit matters. A sample that looks correct on a table can still sit differently on a wearer, especially with a structured crown or a fitted closure.
Check the logo as a physical mark
Review the logo width, placement, thread or print color, stitch density and visible finish. Look at the mark from normal wearing distance, not only close up.
For multi-color or multi-placement projects, check every version and record which one is approved.
Write down every correction
Use marked photos and measurements for any change. A written correction is clearer than a message saying “make it a bit higher” or “color is slightly off”.
Confirm the revised specification, packing requirements, sample charges and production schedule before approving bulk production.
