Begin with the crown and panel structure
The crown determines how the cap sits and how much space the front panel gives your logo. Structured caps hold a taller shape; unstructured dad caps sit closer to the head. Neither is automatically better — match the shape to the wearer and the brand.
A six-panel cap is the familiar default. A five-panel cap gives a cleaner front and suits a more modern, streetwear or performance direction. Compare the actual product photos before deciding from a line drawing.
Choose the visor and closure for the use
A pre-curved visor is a practical choice for uniforms and everyday wear. A flat visor reads more streetwear. For outdoor work, consider coverage and how the visor holds its shape after packing.
Adjustable snapback, strap and buckle closures simplify sizing for teams and gifts. A fitted or elastic closure can look more finished but needs a confirmed size range.
Then choose the decoration
Embroidery is durable and works well for most front logos. Printing suits fine detail and colorful artwork. Patches add texture and a more constructed look.
Send the artwork and intended logo width with your inquiry. The decoration method, stitch count and placement all affect the final quote and sample.
