Split quantity by style and color
A single total such as 5,000 caps does not show how the order is produced. List quantity per style and per color, and say whether every cap uses the same logo and decoration.
If one color is much smaller than the others, confirm the minimum for that color before assuming it is included in the overall quantity.
Understand what changes the MOQ
The starting reference is 50 pieces per style, but material, color splits, decoration and packing can change the practical minimum. Ask for the minimum to be confirmed against your actual combination.
A smaller first order can be useful for testing sell-through, but the unit cost and available materials may differ from a larger repeat order.
Share the budget and delivery context
Include the currency, whether the budget is per cap or total, and whether it includes shipping. Add the destination, packing needs and required delivery date so the quotation can be reviewed against the real project.
The target date should allow time for artwork review, sampling, production and delivery. A fixed event date should be shared early.
