Send vector artwork when you have it
An SVG, AI, EPS or PDF vector file with outlined text gives the clearest starting point. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send the largest version available and say whether it is a reference or approved artwork.
Avoid screenshots of a logo from a website or social media post. They often lose edge detail and cannot be enlarged cleanly for embroidery.
State the physical logo size
A logo file has no physical size until you define it. Send the intended width or height in centimetres or inches, plus the placement: front centre, left side, right side, back or visor.
Flag small lettering and fine lines. Embroidery and printing have different minimum detail; a design that works on paper may need simplification on a cap.
Confirm color and sample approval
Provide thread or print color references where possible. A screen color is a direction, not a guarantee; the physical sample is the approval point.
The final artwork, logo dimensions, colors and placement should be recorded with the sample so bulk production follows one approved definition.
